What are the optimal/best places to put markers on an individual being captured? Does it make sense to put more markers around joints and more mobile parts of the body rather than something that stay relatively still, such as the stomach?

Most of the markers are often placed around the joints. If you look at the picture on the right, you'll notice there's only one marker on the chest, but there's markers lining the neck, shoulders, arms, legs, head, basically any part of the body an MMA fighter is most likely to engage.
I'm wondering why Shaq had markers all over his chest as well in the last slide; I'm assuming he was flexing or something involving the movement of his chest, I'm unsure.
