Is there any way we can capture a scene from different view point currently? With only 1 camera, we can only pan the viewpoint a little bit but not go to an entirely different location.

In case anyone is interested in capturing vr/360 video for themselves, in addition to these (very) expensive rig + camera setups, companies have also started producing cheaper (~$3/400- $1000) and more commercially accessible 360 cameras for image + video capture. These cameras (such as the ricoh theta, garmin virb, etc) capture 360 video in 4K, and some have even started to experiment with integrating multiple microphones for spatial audio capture as well.
