I guess an important aspect of such languages is the "intuitive-ness". E.g. it should be easy to capitalize on the performance of these languages without having any knowledge of cs149. (for example, personally, I've used half of the languages on the slide before without even knowing the benefits, simply because that's what is recommended for certain tasks).
