Can someone explain the details mentioned in this slide. Finding it a bit difficult conceptually

The slide is covering the fact that there are multiple simultaneous instruction streams that are occurring in parallel; but the instruction stream 6, which as diverged will be blocked off as not executing, and will be stalled until it is in line with the other instructions.
