The slide only mentions C^2 continuity not being preserved by Hermite/Bezier spline. But is it correct that Hermite also does not have C^1 continuity?

Bezier spline only passes through endpoints and not other control points. Does interpolation property require that we pass through all points or just endpoints?

Can Hermite be made to have C1 continuity by setting every adjacent spline's tangents to equal each other?
