This was the coolest thing I've seen in a lecture!! Reminds me of the TV show Brain Games on Nat Geo

I find it interesting that if you stay focused on the dot after looking at the previous slide, the image doesn't fade completely to black and white. It is only after you defocus that you see the real color. I wonder what's at play that keeps the illusion up for so long.
