Fun fact: in high school a couple of classmates and I programmed the Mandelbrot set on our TI-84 calculators. It was pretty cool at the time to see it on the calculator screen but this video blows that out of the water by as many orders of magnitude as it zooms in.

this is insanely cool. Would be cool to make it "navigable" so you can pan and zoom in to whatever little fractal corner you want to.

Given the known self-similarity property would there be a way to efficiently anti-alias the Mandelbrot diagrams. Intuitively it seems to me that all conventional Mandelbrot diagrams are heavily aliased because of how high frequency the content is.
