One aspect of this uncanny valley example I found particularly uncanny was the hair on the female character. It was eye-catchingly shiny and fluid, which lended it some realism, but at the same time, it all moved together, which was weird but I guess much easier to animate.


The contours of the woman's face are also too angular due to an insufficent amount of polys. The skin also looks weird because its material is too smooth and diffuse.
